When we make the journey over the Atlantic to embark on a buying trip, we experience a slew of emotions… from the giddy anticipation of the hunt and the treasures we’ll uncover, to the dread of jet lag and aching feet, to the certain stress that even our 20th or so foreign language emersion can hold, there is always a flurry of pumping adrenaline along for the ride.

The challenge, as we scurry about the country sides, driving tiny stick-shift cars, sometimes on the wrong side of the road, being certain to cover every square inch of every flea market we encounter, is to pause, and breathe, and melt into the quintessential European experience of simply being.
